First stage - Visual Inspection

Second Stage - Non Destructive Testing Techniques

We have the entire range of expertise for conducting structural audits and have vast experience in organizing and interpreting various tests on the structure.

As the structure is visually inspected, the next step is to conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) to assess the safety of a structure.

It is important to check the strength and durability of the concrete by checking concrete strength, chemical attack resistance, corrosion assessment, etc. Below are the techniques used to assess structure’s condition –

  • Rebound Hammer Test - To check the comprehensive strength of the concrete
  • UST (Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity) Test - For accurate cracks diagnostic, check condition of rocks, concrete used in building
  • Core Testing - To test sample of building core in a licensed labrotary
  • Chemical Tests are performed to check pH and carbonation levels (For chloride, So3, and pH Values)
  • Analysis of the building structure by preparing structural drawing
  • Theoretical analysis of the building (based on structural drawing)
  • Use of strain gauges to measure the strength of rebar
  • Cover meter survey
  • Seismic diagnostic, Fire & Safety Readiness
  • Water Permiability Test to check resistance of concrete to water
