Structural Audits involve health assessment of structures using visual and physical inspection by a team of expert auditors. We have successfully used UAV technology (drones) for inspecting structures which are not easily accessible such as chimneys, towers etc. The structural audits are assisted with non-destructive testing wherever required for indistinct/detailed information. A final audit report is generated which includes repair methodologies, BOQ/Bill of quantities (if required) and issuance of stability certificates.

For achieving business results on a sustainable basis, organisations need to operate within the framework of effective management system. These are traditionally called ‘Quality Management System’, introduced under the banner of ISO:9001. At their core, Quality Management System (QMS) are actually Business Management System, the scope and focus of these systems can vary across organisations and in the same organisation at different stages of evolution.

At the operational level, a QMS essentially focuses on the ‘Product (construction quality)’ and the execution team is mainly involved in its implementation. It typically ensures the quality of the product at one project or one business segment. Project team is generally the custodian of such a QMS.

When the ambit of the QMS is enlarged, it covers the entire organisation including production and support functions. At this level, apart from ensuring product quality, it also helps in creating and maintaining effective business processes across the organisation. This helps in achieving product quality across geographies in a consistent and sustainable manner. COO is generally the custodian of such a QMS.

AT the highest level, the QMS encompasses the entire business and all stakeholders. It covers aspects such as risk management, business strategy and governance. The QMS, at this level has the CEO and the Board at its apex.
