In continuation to our thoughts and mullings about AI, according to the father of Artificial Intelligence, John McCarthy, it is “The science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs”. AI is the ability of a machine or a computer program to think and learn. The concept of AI is based on the idea of building machines capable of thinking, acting, and learning like humans as AI is produced by studying how human brain thinks, and how humans learn, decide, and work while trying to solve a problem, and then using the outcomes of this study as a basis of developing intelligent software and systems to provide solutions within seconds. But it is not the human brain after all!!

We see that almost every person in India seems to be using smartphones due to AI technology. While AI has revolutionised this industry and is being used rampantly. While it is handy and useful, with a quick accessible solution, it is always advisable to someone using CHAT GPT readily available on the phone, that please have some knowledge of the particular area of query or else the result could be something exactly the contrary without you really knowing what to expect! I “consulted” CHAT GPT for a quick write-up on a topic where I knew the answer but wanted a quick solution. I received exactly the opposite answer, and I spent an hour writing on the topic relying on my knowledge! There have been hilarious situations where the answer provided was something totally different! Therefore, use it, but with care and caution!

Engineers and professionals please continuously upgrade yourself in your profession! There’s no quick solution to that!
