We are at the threshold of a new beginning post COVID. We are all experiencing the worst uncertainty faced by mankind. We are sure no conversation begins without a mention to the pandemic. We like to talk about it too and each one tries to gauge the impact on the economy. The Government at its fullest capacity is trying to revive the economy with innovative measures through the leaning curve of previous unsimilar emergency situations.
Looking at the construction industry each one of us is wading through uncertainty. New initiatives and projects are being launched by the Government as well as by the private sector. The sentiment is upbeat. But the typical Civil engineering industry pattern continues. Although it’s a combination of the organized as well as the unorganized sector, technical knowledge has to be respected and not linked to profits. India needs the support of a very robust combination of technical and profit ratio. Skilling is the need of the hour. The industry must unite to achieve this!
