2022 is likely to be an exciting year for the engineering and construction industry as the reports say.

As people, societies, and the world face extreme circumstances, there has emerged a need to make important decisions for buildings, to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and water crises. Houses and buildings have to be environmentally friendly according to the world-wide movement of ESG.
These 2 statements are very important and will have to be considered by the world and especially by India.
Is India and the industry ready for it? What we need is manpower and technology-both. What do Indian colleges teach? – New-age information about technology, sustainability, and new ideas or just the same old syllabus? Are we teaching about new materials which are both durable and heat-free and could be used with traditional methods which are good for the environment? A lot of experiments are made by individuals in India to build eco-friendly buildings.
How are we using that knowledge to train our new engineers and how do we get the young aspiring generation to take up Civil Engineering, work on sites, and help in the conservation of the environment armed with the new set of skills?
